We all see such sweet onions in the summer on the market, it is also called "Yalta onion". I have loved Crimea since childhood, Alupka, the New World, its mountains, unique beaches with pebbles that tingle my bare heels so pleasantly)), turquoise seawater with brown algae. And of course the markets of vegetables, fruits and all sorts of goodies! This painting has become a symbol of my beautiful Crimea for me! Hyperrealism of size and colors, in my opinion, should convey the feeling of the sun and air of the Crimean summer.
