Photorealism in my painting.

I started my creative career by studying photorealism in painting.
The appearance of photography has become part of the creative process of many artists, including in painting. Photography allowed us to create not only the most detailed photorealistic images, but also classical paintings, portraits, landscapes, genre scenes. Surely the audience does not even realize that the artist Borisov - Musatov used photography in his work back in the early XX century. >>>
For me, photorealism has become part of my artistic path. This is a detailed study of nature, shape, conditions, lighting, the opportunity to see the subject in large magnification.

Photography gives me the opportunity to record natural processes and then carefully study them. Of course, it is not possible to make a convincing realistic work only with the help of photography. I continue to study the laws of aerial perspective, color effects, shape construction, and painting techniques on a daily basis.
At some point, I felt that I wanted to move from the framework of pure photorealism to another creative process, which can include not only photorealistic images, but also combine various effects and techniques, but at the same time leaving the reality of the image at its core. I will tell you about this later.)) >
